I wanted to have a look round Westminster Abbey but couldn’t get in. So I popped round the corner to the Cathedral; those Catholics will take anyone.

Is it just me, or is he going for a gun? Still, not the worst reaction I’ve ever had when photographing someone.

I’ve been worried that after seeing my first results from medium format I was never going to be satisfied again with 35mm. But nope, I’m still finding the photographs from the Olympus Trip - the camera of which I’m fondest - very satisfying. It’s a battery-less metallic chunk of loveliness

When you’re the only single guy in a sea of couples at a wedding, it’s not helpful when people continually remark that it’s about time you settled down. Do I look sad and lonely? Apparently, the answer is yes.
Anyway, these are from my first roll through the Mamiya. In fact, my first ever medium format pictures. It’s love, baby. And this time it’s gonna last. Probably.

Searching through my ‘precious things’ box I came across a couple of old Polaroid’s taken about 4 years ago.
Two things make me sad:
1) That I no longer have any Polaroid film to shoot.
2) These photographs were my greatest contribution to that particular relationship.
They’re going back in the box before I recall the rest of the Bikini Top In The Swimming Pool Incident.
